The World Cup is coming to the United States. It should be a moment of joy and community for all those who love soccer. But for many communities, especially immigrants, the presence of ICE threatens to turn that celebration into a moment of fear. We are fighting back by leaning into the love we have for the beautiful game of soccer. Join us in organizing soccer tournaments of all ages all across the country!
We are organizing a youth soccer tournament (ages 11–13) in Brooklyn demanding, NO ICE IN THE CUP! Because in children, we find the clearest expression of what this game is meant to be, joyful, inclusive, and free of fear. These young players remind us of the kind of world we should be building: one rooted in fairness, belonging, and the simple right to play without fear.
Soccer belongs to the world. Join us on this day of the beautiful game and fearless community!
